ALWAYS WINTER, NEVER CHRISTMAS

(Written by Rob Bolton, 1994)

1.) Wandering from the wardrobe, out into the winter wood. / Into the opon, frosted fields, where the lamppost stood. / Listening to the silence of the fallen snow. / Hopin' for something, something, something good.

2.) Gliding on the runners of a dwarf-drawn sleigh. / Scarring the sweet softness of the frozen plain. / A tall, foreboding woman, her eyes they further chill the day. / All dressed in white. Disguised in white.

A.) She holds the life of Narnia in her wicked hand. / Dispersing her deception out across the land. / Fearing four small children, she forestalls the master's paln. / Proclaiming "Always Winter, Never Christmas!"

3.) Tempting turkish pastry, she has caught my eye. / Riding by her side, I hope for sweet delight. / Tho'I'm a little over-bribed here, gotta say I'm still not satisfied. / Just cold. Cold-cold-colder.

B.) The little folk of Narnia have a story that they tell. / The return of good King Aslan will one day break the spell. / He'll spin the magic backwards to a story ended well. / Come on big lion, come on Christmas.
