EVERY MORNING

(Written by Rob Bolton, March, 2008, key of D)

What everybody did, and what everybody said,
Just turned into a blur, over-fillin' my head,
Now it's late, an' I'm tired, an' I'm goin' to bed; Oh Lord,
Your mercies, they are new with every morning.

Where I stood for right, and where I went all wrong,
Where I asked for help, and where I just moved on,
Whatever the deal, I'm never alone, oh Lord.
Your mercies, they are new with every morning.

And even when the hard days line up in a row,
And the troubles pile on, and they just won't go,
And it seems we're gonna live under dull gray skies forever.
I have learned the Lord has got each season timed,
And that the clouds will break, and the sun's gonna shine,
Now until that day, I turn to the words I remember:

Br.) Your mercies, they are new, with every morning.
Your mercies, they are new, with every morning.

INSTR.

Sufficient for the day is the evil therein,
Like a noisy train, it's just a passin' thing,
And in tomorrow's grace, I will begin, oh Lord.
Your mercies, they are new with every morning.

(repeat vs. 2)
