THE GUARDIANS
(RKB, 5/99, C, 4:08)(Psalm 91:ll, Matt 18:10, 26:53, Luke 16:22, Heb 1:6-7, 1Pet 1:12)
1.) There you are. Sweetest dreams, little one. You don't know who I am. You don't need to know. Some don't
believe. It really doesn't matter to me: Interceptor of fate, your guardian great, watching over you.
C1) We ride the wind, with wings of fire. We are commissioned in love. We are clothed with the power. So
darkness, take warning, do not despise these little ones. We can still see the face of the Father in glory, shining
on.
2.) I've been about everywhere, been entertained by the unaware. I've carried beggars from their sorrows to
the bosom of Abraham there. And how I long to look into the pure truth, and how it works. Just don't harden your
heart, it'll only turn dark. Keep it pure.
C2) We are your strong protectors, but get it straight, little one. We won't answer your prayers. We take
our orders from the Son. We hovered over Him: 12 legions, and watched Him buy your freedom. Rejoicing in praise,
when He rose from the grave, we're believing!
C1) As above.
