TO AVON - If the soccer games are at the Lake Road Fields, then take Rte 5&20 west from Lima, past East Avon. Just before Tom Wahl's Restaurant, turn left on Pole Bridge Road. Take it to the end, and turn right on Lake Road. The fields are down a little ways on the right. If the games are at Avon HS, then take Rte 5&20 west from Lima, past East Avon. Just after Tom Wahl's Restaurant, turn left on Har-Bar Street, or furthern down, turn left on Lacy Street. Either will lead to to the school on Clinton Ave Extension. Time from Lima: 12 minutes (8 miles). If you're coming from Henrietta, take 390 south to the Avon/Lima exit. Turn right onto 5&20, go past East Avon, and then follow as above.
TO BISHOP KEARNEY HIGH SCHOOL - Take 390 north to 590 north to 104 West. Exit at Goodman Street: turn right on Goodman. Continue across East Rdige Road, where Goodman becomes Kings Highway. Bishop Kearney HS is on the left almost immediately.
TO BLOOMFIELD - From Lima, take 5&20 East, through the village of West Bloomfield, and then to East Bloomfield. Go past Crosman Air Guns, past Rte 64 North, and then watch for Oakmont Street. Turn left on Oakmont. The school is down on the left. BUT SOMETIMES SOCCER IS AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Continue down Oakmont, to the end. Turn right onto Main Street, and go to the Traffic Light. Turn right, heading back south, and the school is on the right.
TO CALEDONIA-MUMFORD - Take Rte 5&20 west from Lima, through Avon. After Avon, the road will split, with Rte 20 bearing southwest (left) and Rte 5 bearing northwest (right). Stay on Rte 5, and continue into Caledonia. At the traffic circle, bear right onto Rte 36 North, toward Mumford. Continue north for a mile. The school's on the right, at the corner of Freeman Road. Time from Lima: Approx. 25 minutes. If you're coming from Henrietta, take Erie Station Road (Rte 253) to Scottsville. Turn left on Scottsville Road (Rte 383), and go through Scottsville. The road becomes Riga-Mumford Road, but remains Rte 383. Eventually you'll see a sign for Mumford, and Rte 36. Turn left, and go about two miles. The school is on the left.
TO CANASERAGA - From Lima, take 15A South through Hemlock, Springwater and Wayland. Pick up 390 NORTH (not South), heading back toward Dansville. Get off at exit 4, and take 36 South to 70 West. Turn right on 70 West (Canaseraga Road) and go into Canaseraga. The school is in the village, on the right. From Henrietta, just take 390 South, and get off at the second Dansville exit (exit 4). Continue as above.
TO COHOCTON SOCCER COMPLEX - From Lima, take 15A south through Hemlock, Springwater, and Wayland. After Wayland, turn left onto 390 South. Go down one exit to Cohocton (exit 2), turn left, and look for the stadium lights. From Henrietta: take 390 South, past Geneseo, Dansville, Wayland, to Cohocton.
TO EACH ROCHESTER - From Lima, take 15A north, but veer right at the first light and head toward Honeoye Falls. The road will become Route 65. Head north on route 65. Go several miles, to Jefferson Road. Turn right, heading east. Take Jefferson into Pittsford, and just past the high school, turn left onto Main Street Pittsford, (Rte 96 North). Take that eastward, through the village, and under the railroad bridge. Then turn right on Rte 153, Washington Street. Take Washintotn Street to East Rochester, crossing Route 31F. (You'll see the soccer fields at that intersection, but just continue straight.) Continue on Washington to West Ivy Street, turning right. The school is down on the right. If you're coming from Route 490, get off at the Fairport Road exit, and take 31F eastward. The first light will be Washington Street, and you'll see the soccer fields. Turn left onto Washington, then right onto W. Ivy. The school's down on the right.
TO FILMORE - Take 390 South to the Mount Morris exit. Take Rte 408 South into Mount Morris, through the town, and continue south to Nunda. At Nunda, turn right on 436 West, and go to Portageville. In Portageville, bear left on Rte 19A South. Go through Wiscoy and into Filmore. Turn right at the light (Rte 19 North). The school is 3/10 mile up on your left.
TO FINNEY - Go to 390 North, and take that through Henrietta. At "The big Y", turn right onto 590 north. Take that to 490 East, turning right. Take 490 East to the second exit: Linden Avenue, Rte 441. Turn left on Linden, heading east. Take that straight, all the way into Penfield. Turn left at the Penfield Four Corners, onto Five-Mile-Line Road, heading north. The school is in a brick building, 1/4 mile down on the right.
TO FRANKLIN - From Lima, pick up 390 North (in Avon or Rush), and go thru Henrietta. Then bear right on 590 north, past 490, to 104 West. On 104 West, take the Carter/Hudson exit. Go straight over Carter street, to Hudson Ave, and turn left. The enormous school will be down on the left, between Shady Lane and Norton Street. The entrance is on the east side of the building. Turn left on Shady Lane, then right on Kilmar, then right into the parking lot.
TO GANANDA - Take 390 North to 590 North to 490 East. Exit at Rte 441, go through Penfield, and continue east. Right at the Monroe County/Wayne County line, bear right onto Gananda Parkway. Go about two miles, then cross Canandaigua Road, then turn left on Waterford Road. The soccer field is on the right, next to the elementary school. If you're going to the Jr Hi or High School, continue down Waterford, then turn left on Dayspring Ridge, and travel to the bottom of the hill. The school is at the end. OR: If you would rather approach from the south: go to Victor, entering the town from route 444, (Victor-Holcomb Road). Turn right, heading east on route 96, then turn a quick left on Church Street. Go up the hill, and continue straight. Church Street will go under the thruway, and then become Victor-Egypt Road. Take it all the way to the end, at Rte 31, by Lolipop Farm. Turn right on Rte 31, and head east into Macedon. Turn left on Rte 350, heading north out of Macedon. At Rte 31F, it'll turn into Weidrick Road. Keep heading north. Then turn left on Waterford Road, and watch for Dayspring Ridge on your right. The school is at the end of Dayspring Ridge.
TO GENESEO - From Lima, take Rte 5&20 west, to Avon. Just past Avon's traffic circle, turn left on Rte 39. Continue about twelve miles to Geneseo. Geneseo High School will be just before the village, on the right. Most Jr Hi soccer games are at the Armory Park Continue past the high school, still on Rte 39. The armory is less than a mile down on the left. Time from Lima: approx. 25 minutes. If you're coming from Henrietta, take Rte 390 to the Geneseo Exit (Rte 20A). Turn right on 20A, heading west. Then turn right on Rte 39, which is Main Street. Go through the village, and continue out of town. The Armory field will come up on the right. The High School is a bit farther down on the left.
TO HOUGHTON ACADEMY- Take 390 South to the Mount Morris exit. Take Rte 408 South into Mount Morris, through the town, and continue south to Nunda. At Nunda, turn right on 436 West, and go to Portageville. In Portageville, bear left on Rte 19A South. Go through Wiscoy and into Filmore. Continue straight through Filmore (Rte 19A South becomes 19 South), and go straight into Houghton. Turn right at the "Houghton College" sign. Then take the first left onto Thayer Street. Follow Thayer Street up the hill. The school is on the left. To get to the soccer field, continue past the school to the dead end of the street. Turn left, and the field is down on the right.
TO LEROY - Most soccer games are at Hartwood Park. From Lima, take Rte 5 & 20 west, through Avon, and, staying on Rte 5, through Caledonia. Eight miles after Caledonia is Leroy. Opon entering Main Street Leroy, watch for South Street, which will be on your left. (North Street goes off to the right). Turn Left on South Street, and go down one mile. From Lima, it's about 35 minutes. The park's on the right. (If you were going to the school, you would stay on Rte 5, past South Street, and the school would be on your left) If you're coming from Henrietta, take the Thruway west to Exit 47, the Leroy/Brockport exit. Then take Rte 19 south to Leroy, about 5 1/2 miles. Turn left at Main Street onto Rte 5. Go over the river, past the school, and then watch for South Street on your right. (North Street goes off to your left). Turn right on South and take it one mile to the park.
TO MOUNT MORRIS - The soccer games are played at the Town Park, not at the school. To get to the park: take 390 south to the Mount Morris exit, and then turn on to 408 South, heading towards the village. You will shortly see a MacDonalds on your right. Just past the MacDonalds, turn right onto Mill Street. (They've just put a traffic light there.) Continue to the end on Mill, then turn right, and you'll see the park.
TO NEW COVENANT (OF PENFIELD) - Go to 390 North, and take that through Henrietta. At "The big Y", turn right onto 590 north. Take that to 490 East, turning right. Take 490 East to the second exit: Linden Avenue, Rte 441. Turn left on Linden, heading east. Take that straight, all the way into Penfield. Turn left at the Penfield Four Corners, onto Five-Mile-Line Road, heading north. The school is in a brick building, 1/4 mile down on the right.
TO NORTHSTAR - THREE POSSIBLE LOCATIONS: Some games are at First Bible Baptist Church (1039 North Greece Road), some are at Grace & Truth Park, and some are at Northstar Academy (332 Spencerport Road).. If at the church: take 390 North to 490 West, to 531 West (Spencerport Expressway). Exit at Elmgrove. Turn right, heading north. Take Elmgrove to Ridge Road West (Rte 104). Go straight across Ridge Raod, and Elmgrove turns into North Greece Road. The church is down on the left side, #1039.
Most soccer games are at a sports complex called "Grace & Truth Sports Park", (about 3 1/2 miles past the church, 1.5 miles past Latta Road, also on the left side). The best way to get to "G&T Park" is to stay on 390 North, exit at Latta Road, turn left on Latta Road heading west, and then turn right on North Greece Road.
If the game is at the Northstar Academy: take 390 North, past 490, and exit at Lyell Ave. Turn left, heading west. The road will "Y" , and you'll take the right fork (which is mostly straight), staying on Rte 31, which becomes Spencerport Road. The school is down on the right, #332.
TO PERRY - From Lima, take 5&20 west toward Avon, and pick up 390 South. (From Henrietta, just get on 390 South). Go to the first Geneseo exit, and take 20A West. It'll merge into 39 South. Take 39 South, through Leicester. Stay on 39 (20A will head elsewhere) into Perry. Once in the town, but before the traffic lights, look for Odem Street or School Street, going off to the right. Take either down to Wilkins St. Turn left. The school address is 33 Wilkins Street. The field is behind the school. WARNING: Perry has a speed trap set up at the entrance to their town. Don't drive over the limit at all ! (Fine = $125)
TO PAVILION - From Lima, Take Rte 5&20 west from Lima, through Avon. After Avon, the road will split, with Rte 20 bearing southwest (left) and Rte 5 bearing northwest (right). Take the left fork, turning onto Rte 20, and take it all the way to Rte 19. Exit there, and turn left, heading south, into Pavilion. Then turn left on Route 63, and go to the top of the hill. The school is on the right: 7014 Big Tree Road. (Takes 30 minutes from Lima).
TO SCIO - From Lima, Rte 5&20 West, towards Avon. Get on 390 South, and take it to Dansville, Exit 4. *and then head south on Route 36. Take 36South to Interstate 86 west, (aka Route 17) and head west about 24 miles to the Belmont exit. From there, take Route 19 South past Belmont to Scio. At the light in Scio, make a left and the first street is Washington Street and the school is in plain view. (From Henrietta or Rochester, take 390 South to Dansville Exit #4 and then follow as * above.) (Takes 1 hr 15 mins from Lima).
TO SOTA (SCHOOL OF THE ARTS) - Their soccer games are either at Rochester City School #1 or #46.
Directions to the #1 School (Martin B. Anderson School), 85 Hillside Drive. Coming from the south (Lima, Henrietta, etc.), take 390 North to 590 North. Exit at Highland Drive, turning left onto Highland. Go down to Winton Road, and turn right. Go to Hillside Drive, and turn left. The school is down on the left, and the field is behind it. Coming from the east, west, or north: Get on 490, and go to the Culver Road exit. Turn south on Culver, heading towards Cobbs Hill. Turn left on Norris Drive, go past the baseball fields, and then veer right onto the beginning of Hillside Drive. The school is on the right.
Directions to the #46 School (Newcastle Road). Take 390 North to 590 North, past 490, and exit at Browncroft. Turn left on Browncroft, heading west towards the city. Go past Faith-to-Faith Church, and turn left onto Newcastle Raod. The school is down on the left. (You can also get to Newcastle Road from Blosson Road, but you can't get back that way.)
TO WARSAW - Take Rte 5&20 west from Lima, through Avon. Shortly after Avon, 5 & 20 will split. Take the left fork, staying on Rte 20west. Take that several miles, to Rte 19. Then head south on Rte 19, through Pavilion, and continue south to Warsaw. The game could be at the High School or at the Town Park. To get to the High School: as you're coming into Warsaw on Rte 19 south, turn right at the Monument onto W. Court Street. Then turn right onto Linwood Street, and the school's athletic fields are down on the left. If you're going to the Town Park field: Continue south on Rte 19, past the monument, to the main intersection of Warsaw, at Rte 20A. Turn right on 20Awest, and then take the next left on to Liberty Street, and their Town Park is down on the right. (Parking is a fiasco). .(Takes 45 minutes from Lima.)
Alternative directions to Warsaw via 20A: Go to Route 390, and head south. Get off at Exit 8, at Rte 20A, and head west towards Geneseo. Continue on 20Awest, through Geneseo, Leicester, and finally on to Warsaw. To get to the Town Park, continue straight past Rte 19 at the light, and then turn left onto Liberty Street. The park's down on the right. To get to the High School, turn right, going north on Rte 19, and at the monument, make a left onto W. Court Street. Then make a right on Linwood, and the fields are down on the left.
TO WEBSTER CHRISTIAN - Go to 390 North, and take that through Henrietta. At "The big Y" turn right onto 590 north. Take that for several miles, past 490. Exit at Route 104 East. (Be careful. You don't want 404 East, and you don't want 104West, even though that looks like it heading east.) Take 104 East across the Bay Bridge, to Holt Road. Turn left on Holt, heading north. The school's down about a mile, behind Webster Bible Church, 671 Holt Road, on the left.
TO WILLIAMSON - Take 390 North to 590 North to 104 EAST. Go over the Bay Bridge, through Webster and Ontario. Continue past Spencer Speedway and then into Williamson. Turn right on Route 21. The school is down on the right, about a mile or so.
TO YORK - Take 5&20 west from Lima, through Avon. After Avon, it'll split, with Rte 20 heading southwest (left) and Rte 5 heading northwest (right). Take Rte 20 to Rte 36. Turn left on Rte 36, heading South. You'll go about five miles, into the village of York. Go through the village, and continue to Rte 63. Turn left, heading east, and the school's right there on your right. If you're coming from Geneseo, continue through downtown Geneseo to Rte 20A. Turn right, heading west. Almost immediately, pick up Rte 63North, bearing right. Take 63 north (actually northwest) about 6 1/2 miles. The school will come up on your left, just before Rte 36. If you're coming from Henrietta, you can take 390 to the Geneseo exit, and follow 20A to Rte 63 north. Or you can go to Caledonia, turn right, then a quick left, staying on Rte 36 South, and continue about 11 miles more to York.
