From 1995 through 2003, we had our own family music band. We played over 100 shows, recorded
nine CDs, and got to praise the Lord with our pop-rock style. Original members: Rob Bolton with daughters Kim and
Julie, plus cousin Carolyn. (Drummer Dan Prouty temporarily replaced Carolyn from 2001 through 2003.)
Although we no longer play regularly, we occasionally re-gather to record. In 2006, we got back
to it, and put together a not-for-sale CD of 15 Dave Clark Five Songs. Carolyn re-joined for this project, and
since then we continue to produce music.
In 2007, we put out our best album ever, called "The Beauty of It
All". It contains four original songs, 4 traditional folk songs, 4 pop-rock oldies, and four classic worship
hymns. (Click the album cover below for more information.) Then, a few months later, Rob put out a solo album of
"Western Songs", exploring the folklore of America's storied frontier. (Again, click the album cover
below for more info.)
Early in 2008, Rob followed up with an album called "Meanwhile Back
East". This contains mostly covers of British R&R hits, including several written by Ron Ryan, and a number
of DC5 hits. Then in the summer, we released "Don't Stop Now". Rob hopes to continue his East/West series
with two more solo albums: "South of Springfield" (coming late 2008 or early 2009) and then "North
Coast Rockers".
